Holster question for Smith 22A

Today I put a BSA 2x scope on my Smith 22A. Now I need to try and find a holster for it. Shoulder holsters tend to make me uncomfortable, but I really don't want one of those "tactical" jobs for this gun either. Any ideas?

Greetings. I too have a 22a with a red dot. I tried a bandolier type sold by Cabelas. Can't remember who made it. It was HUGE! I took it back. It would be good for if you're driving your tractor or quad, especially in the winter. A lot of velcro and really big. I'm not presently carrying mine in a holster. I carry something else for defence. WHich barrel do you have?

Unlce mIkes makes the only one I have found. It is a bandolier style I believe. Very large and has the shoulder harness rig. I really am not satified with it and would like to find a hip holster if possible. I can modify this one but am looking for a premade one if possible

I've given this a lot of thought. It will likely end up being something modified. Especially if you have any kind of optics mounted. Off to research more...
