Holster question

I have a smith and wesson brand holster which is numbered 21-34 on the underside. It is a 4" k frame holster and I love it. Is there a 6" version, if so what is the number for the 6" version and any tips on where I can get one?

Hello Pete;
The first two numbers on the back of your holster are the model # of the holster. On the next two numbers: the 3 stands for K-frame, and the 4 is the barrel length. You need to look for one that has a 6 as the last number, which will indicate for a 6" barrel.

Another Holster Question

If the 3 in 34 represents "K" frame, what represents "N" frame? Perhaps 4?

I think that 4 stands for Colt. 2 stands for N-frame.

I've got a 21-34 also. A great holster. I'd like to have one in black (I don't want to dye the one I have). Anybody know where I might find one, or a similar one? right handed.

BTW. I used to have a similar holster, made of a stuff Smith & Wesson called "Wessonhide" which was a type of artificial (plastic) leather. It was "ok" but the gun did tend to stick to the material, and it never really form fitted to the gun.

I picked up a black one for a 6" in the used holster bin at a local gunshop. They're out there, not too tough to find.
