Holster question

While driving through Kittery, ME. yesterday, I stopped at the trading post and picked up a Tagua BH1-940 holster. It says on the package that it is for an L frame 4". I own a model 65-6 4" and the fit seems to be pretty snug and comfortable. What are your thoughts about an L frame holster for a K frame gun? Again, with the thumb break, the fit seems ok. Just wanted feed back from the community. This is my first post here and I have been lurking for a while. Great site!!! Looking forward to hearing from you.

Welcome to the forum. You should have no problem with that holster for your Model 66. I believe that holsters for K and L frames are pretty much dual use.

There is a difference between the two frames despite sharing grip size as I am sure you already know. I would worry about a K frame maybe being too loose in a L frame holster (and a L frame being too tight in a K frame) but if it's a snug fit I wouldn't have a problem with it especially if it has a thumb break.
