Your odd barrel length means that you'll need a custom holster, or use one meant for a four-inch bbl.

Ed made this one for me about 12-13 yrs ago. This one is brown basketweave. I had him make it with the exposed trigger. About $33 in your choice of color and stamping. He usually delivers within 1 week. It's taken some hard use and still looks and is as stiff as the day he made it. I carry this exposed when I'm hunting so it gets drug thru brush and briars but it's still good as new.
You're not going to find a better made holster using as thick of leather for anywhere near the price. Ed's been making holsters at least 30 yrs. He's made a bunch of holsters for people on this forum. He was using my S&W 63 as a mould and I lost track of how many holsters he's made for that model. A bunch.

Consider a "Silver Dollar Pancake" from Simply Rugged, custom made for your barrel length and choice of decoration for a good price. They're made for using, not necessarily for show. I'm very happy with mine. I haven't been happy with paddle rigs I have tried.

I personally wouldn't put the 43 in a holster. They are kind of rare. Unless it's in good used condition, keep it nice. JMHO!
I have considered that... i have not yet laid eyes on the revolver, but the seller, an impeccable source, listed it as used, LNIB...
thing is, all of my guns are users, and the fact that i got this one from this particular source will add to it's value, in my eyes...
it was listed on an open web classified for a couple of days before i even saw it... the collectors had their chance....
i suspected they were herrett's... i have my old jordan troopers on my model 66...
i'll have to have a pair of those shooting stars...
