3" 629 Deluxe Holster ...a difficult find?

New here, I just purchased a 629 Deluxe w/3" barrel as a trail/camping sidearm which I will also use at times for concealed carry. I'm having a very difficult time finding a holster. I have found holsters for 629 2 1/2" & 4" revolvers by numerous manufacturers but I'm coming up empty for the 3" ...any suggestions???

Can't argue with El Paso Saddlery or Kramer but if you want to spend a little less I've been very pleased with those by h.c.leather which you can find on eBay ($50 plus shipping). I have three or four of them and the fit is good and they work well for me.

For OWB I happily use a Galco Combat Master 134 for the 2.5” N frame. I use it for my 2 5/8” and 3” models. Don’t recall much if any barrel poking out.

Both Tucker & Milt Sparks will make their holsters for the exact length you tell them. I have a holster from each one and they are top notch.

El Paso makes beautiful stuff but be ready to pay. I have been using a Don Hume J.I.T. holster that is working our great. The best part is that it is an open design so I can use it interchangeably with my other N frames with different barrel lengths. Plus they are under 40 bucks. I don't have a photo but you can see them at Gunners Alley web site. Of course it's not a Thomas Three Persons with floral carvings form El Paso but they are at the top of the holster food chain in my opinion.

Simply Rugged Sourdough Pancake! Fantastic Holsters, I use one for my 4" M29.

That said, I have a local guy that made my daily carry holster for my 3" M629. If you want his contact info, send me a PM.

I have one from H.C. Leather and it is a very nice Tom Three Persons style holster, that has held up very well to rough usage.

This is all good info. Thanks LbiFlyFisher for putting this out there. I just got a 3" deluxe to take along fly fishing and I'm looking for new leather for it as well. Keep the suggestions coming. I'm still combing through the recommendations. I'd like to find one that can be crossdraw or strong side....
