Holsters.

I know I may be jumping the gun,are there any holsters out there that would work with the new 66 with 4.25" barrel. Do you think a 4" holster would work? I have an El Paso for my 617 with 4" barrel and would use that if I could.

In my opinion, I would say that with most holsters it should be fine.

An exception could be the tighter fitting pancake style holsters with a thumbstrap. But that might not even pose an issue for a paltry 1/4" of extra bbl length. I have a Bianchi pancake style with thumbstrap that is made for a 4" K frame but will accept a 4" L frame. A little snug but it goes.

I found this Tex Shoemaker holster on ebay, brand new at a very nice price.

Only way to be sure is to try it in the holster. One with thick leather and a closed bottom that fits a 4" tightly probably won't accept the 4.25".

Thanks everyone for the input. I will have to wait and see when 66 comes in , I hope my El Paso Strongside Select works it's one of my favorites.
