Very nice. Seems your BIL has some talent. I have a friend who has made knives from old files, but no forging involved. Those are pretty cool.

Nice little knife. Here's my file knife that I reshaped. I won it on Ebay for $12 with the leather sheath. It's heavy, but it's for fighting/stabbing and would make a good boot knife. I don't carry it as I carry my Buck 110 with me all the time.
