I have an older C.Crane CCRadio plus that is beginning to give some trouble.Does anyone have suggestions for a radio comparable in size to the CCRadio that is both relatively inexpensive and excellent quality for home use?

Have you looked at the current production C.Crane radios? And is that a trilobite in your avatar?

I've never heard of a CCRadio before, but it looks like there are 14 different models still being made. They also sell refurb and orphan radios. Maybe the company can repair yours.

I have looked at the latest CCRadios but they have increased in price since I bought the one we have!I will take another look at the various models.I think they will repair mine but I believe the cost is high for an old model.

My wife has a Sangean PR-D9W portable that she really likes.
