...........my wife made a couple of holsters several years ago and I have not been able to get her to make any since.

Maybe bribes? I have to have at least one holster for a Smith revolver from her workbench.

Posted this one before but a friend here on the Forum wanted to see it.

Tony,

Your wife has some real talent there. Maybe you can get her to cobble one up for V day :D

Thanks for sharing, there is a lot of talent in the world that goes unrecognized and I am glad to see her work being shared.

Really Nice

May I ask: was it hand-stitched or did she use a machine?

She figured it out before the whole thing got out of hand!

As a young cop 44 years ago, raising two hungry kids and paying the mortgage on skinny paychecks, if I wanted something I had to figure out how to make it. Guys I worked with saw what I was doing and started asking me to do holsters for them.

43 years later I was working 7 days per week to keep up with orders from all 50 US states and 33 other countries. I had to sell the business and retire just to get a day off.

Now I can actually get out to do some shooting. Found about a dozen guns I had acquired and never used. Got the reloading bench functioning again.

Your wife does some beautiful work. But if you keep showing those things to other people you will probably need to quit your job, start doing the housework, laundry, cooking all the meals, and helping her count her money.

Best regards.
