I like the "goofy thing" from Brownells. I am sure it works. It strikes me that with a setup to turn the barrel while you hold the tool against the shoulder it would work real well. Or you could mount the tool in a vise and spin the barrel using a on center setup

The Pit of Despair is no longer despairing....it worked wonderfully during today's range trip. A little time with some Mother's polish and some orange paint on the front sight blade and the last project of the year will be done.
