We had our Grace Alley flagpole set up for over a year now. Yesterday we had a thunderstorm coming through with wind gusts of 40-50mph. After about 15-20min holding out in that condition, the bracket finally gave up and broke.
We were flying the AN APPEAL TO HEAVEN flag since our Stars & Stripes needs replacement. Someone must have misunderstood the appeal

I sent them an email stating what happened while simultaneously ordering a new one.... and a few flags. They already replied that they are working on a new design. Good.
Anyway, I'm looking real hard at a set of 10' Homesteader Outrigger Flagpoles which fly the flags at 30 or 45 degree.
The angle is decided by the bracket, so it's either 30 or 45 degree. Which I think I would opt for the 45-degree brackets.
I think two or three would fit perfectly above the garage door, instead of that flimsy bracket right next to the front door.
Anyone has those Outriggers installed? Is there also a half-staff position for said flagpoles?
Any help/input is appreciated.
