Hoppies synthetic blend ok for newer blued guns?

I have been reading how S&W newer guns should not be cleaned with hoppies #9, is the synthetic blend ok for the newer blued guns? I assume thats why it's made.

Check the ingredients: if it's ammoniated, no; if not, in theory it's safe.

Tried a search and can't find the ingredients.

Try looking for the MSDS sheet on the Hoppes website. If it's ammoniated, it will be listed on the MSDS sheet since ammoniated stuff should be a hazardous ingredient.

Got an e-mail back from hoppes. No ammonia in the #9 synthetic blend
