Does anybody use, like or dislike the Hornady rechargeable silica dehumidifier?

I don't see the Hornady as being much different than several other brands such as Eva Dry, Stack On, etc. that uses silica gel to absorb moisture and are recharged by plugging them into an electrical outlet.
Everyone's needs are different depending on what part of the country you live in and where your safe is located. Here in the Midwest, summers carry a lot of humidity. In addition, if your safe is located in a building that is not climate controlled, humidity will likely be more of an issue.
Personally, my safe is located in the shop/office area of one of our farm buildings that is insulated but not climate controlled. I use a Peet SafeKeeping Dryer (SafeKeeping Gun Safe Dryer and Dehumidifier | PEET Shoe Dryer – Peet Shoe Dryer) inside the safe that plugs into an electrical outlet and emits a flow of warm air, thereby preventing condensation from being able to form. Many shooters like the Golden Rod (Gun Safe Golden Rod Dehumidifier Rod) that works on the same principle.
I do have two silica gel dehumidifiers inside my safe as well. I also keep all of my guns in silicone treated gun socks. The gun socks are an extra precaution against moisture and help prevent dings and scratches on your guns when taking them in and out of the safe. In the summer when humidity is high, I run a room dehumidifier inside the shop where the safe is located as well as a couple of fans when I am working in there.
Lastly, a hygrometer for measuring the humidity is a good thing to have. I have one inside the safe and one for the room itself. I like to keep the humidity around 50%-55%.
Is what I do likely overkill? Probably, but for me it's peace of mind.

I don't have a gun safe, but have a 4'x7' walk in vault, all concrete in the basement. I keep a milkhouse heater that blows warm air when called for, and the humidity stays in the 50-55% range.
