Two slugs for a VW van, and double slugs if the VW was yellow. (4 slugs for yellow VW van)

I'm 72 and had never heard of a Paddidle, but when I read the explanation I immediately recognized it as a "Winkydink", which had all the same results. Must be a Midwest thing.

A game played while in a vehicle. 'Padiddle' is said when another vehicle is spotted that has only a single headlight. The person/people who didn't say paddidle must remove one article of clothing.

You're right the flam comes before paradiddle. (It's been years since I dealt with these....) Of course with a paradiddle-diddle the first one is usually inverted.
