If it wasn't for the Red Sox you guys wouldn't be going to the playoffs;):D Good luck, great month of Sept, you guys deserve it.
Talk about a great comback.:)

Congrats. Well deserved victory and Wild Card title. :) Really looking forward to the Arizona-Milwaukee DS.

Anyone think the Mariners will make the Series before the next asteroid hits earth?

The Texas Rangers are ready for the Rays. It should be a good series.

The Rangers should have held on to Cliff Lee.:p

The Rays are riding the "do you believe in miracles" train. If it keeps up no one can defeat them. Bases loaded, no outs? No problem, that's what triple plays are for. Oh, we're down by one, with 2 outs? We have a guy, he don't play much, we just use him when we need a long ball.

Congrats to them....compliments of Boston.....and the Braves well....they pretty much stunk up the place as well for a month.

Hey, I love my Red Sox but they did not deserve to win the way they have played this month. Their base running has been just awful and that play last night at the plate was a perfect example. He either should have stopped at third or never have paused between 2nd and 3rd.

Well, we still have Tom Brady and the Patriots. Well...maybe not after the 21 to 0 lead that they blew last week. Oh my God, the horror of it all...

Wanna borrow my gun?:D

Looks like Adrian Gonzales got to see a NL meltdown in 2010, and an AL meltdown in 2011. Rays/Brewers FTW!!!

When one is a Red Sox fan, basically it is excepted, nothing to loose sleep over.:D Theo the genius, really signs some great players.

"Wait till next year" the theme of the Boston Red Sox:)

Have to admit, they sure pack them in at Fenway.

The Rays owe their success to the collapse of the Red Sox.

It would be one thing if the Sox were winning until they came up against the Rays, who knocked them out.

Unfortunately the Red Sox couldn't beat anyone in September.

By the end of the night, after the Red Sox had blown it, even I was rooting for the Rays. At least they were playing like they wanted it.

REAL baseball is played in the NL - the Phils will take the Series in 6 :p

You know you have a great team when Oswalt is your #4:

I'm just wondering who the Red Sox are going to hate the most in the AL East next year, the Orioles, who knocked them out, the Rays for overtaking and beating them out, or those hated Yankees for "tanking" the last game. All that money spent and nothing to show for it.

or those hated Yankees for "tanking" the last game.

The Yankees DIDN'T "tank". Look how hard they played for the first 8 innings. They wanted that game more than anything and the Rays out because they have trouble beating them (Rays) more than they do the Sox.

The Yankees – Red Sox rivalry is one of the oldest, most famous and fiercest rivalries in professional sports. For over 100 years

We actually love one another so much, it just appears as hatred:D It is rather exciting when we bump heads.

I wonder how those Rays fans feel that left the ball park for the exits when it was 7-0 NY in the 7th.
They missed some awfully exiting baseball.

The come from behind runs, 3 run home run, bottom of the 9th 2out/2strike HR to tie it,,another walk off HR to win it..

..and that triple play alone was worth it. Most fans never get to see one live in professional ball.

..and I'm a NYY fan..

Best of luck to your Rays, but I think my beloved Rangers are ready for them. Game starts in a little bit. Go Rangers!

You TX guys are in trouble. <snip>

It's not over till it's over

Imagine if you bet $500-$1000 on the Rays, sitting there with tears in your eyes and seeing the $$ leaving your wallet, then all of a sudden a huge smile appears on your face.

This Red Sox fan says GO RAYS:D
