How "concealed" are you in your personal life?

like many others have said, if i'm not at home I'm carrying. The general naive oblivious public doesn't know and they aren't forming search parties (yet) for concealed carriers. However i would say like most things it probably is situational as to what gun and how you're going to carry, are you going to be in a mostly urban environment? Or country? How long are you going to be gone? What time of day is it? Will it get dark while you're gone? Etc...... My wife and I both have our CCW permits so if we are outside of the barriers of the house, even to get the mail or take the garbage out, we have a gun "somewhere" on our person not necessarily in a holster, could be a pocket, if I'm in my wheelchair it could be under my leg, you know, "somewhere."

It is extremely unlikely that a civilian will need a firearm even in "scary" places, so one can go with the odds and never carry. OTOH, bad people can do bad things in the most unlikely places, like church. I am not any good at predicting the future, so I carry 24/7.

I have a Concealed Carry License and a couple of people(close to me) know I carry. They both have their own CCW's.

Exactly, you never know when or where it'll go down, so just always carry

I'm generally pretty concealed when I am out and about. I don't always carry around the house, but a lot of the time I have one on after my early morning exercise walk or after having run errands. Most times I don't remove the pistol from my belt until I am settled in for the night. If I am not carrying, a couple pistols hidden in the house are easily accessible.

While my wife knows that I have a permit, I don't think that she is ever aware of when I am armed. I don't tell anyone except a very close friend and he live in the next state so it does not come up often. It is a personal decision to go armed and unless a LEO talks to me and I have to tell him, I never tell anyone. Be Safe All!

This is the 1,000,000,000 + time I have heard that someone's wife does not know if they are carrying???? It seems counter-intuitive to me that my spouse or significant other would not know if I or they are carrying. Is your spouse carrying? I think it would be important that you both knew if either or both of you are carrying in case of an event, so as to how to react, what your plans are, etc. Be Safe,

Was watching a movie late evening, "Hell and High Water", with Jeff Bridges. Good film about two bank robbers being pursued by two Texas Rangers. The perpetrators had been relatively non-violent in previous robberies until they entered a crowded bank and placed everyone of the floor. Suddenly a man on the floor drew his pistol and fired, shortly afterwards the bank guard fired. One of the robbers quickly dispatched the two, And then all hell broke loose with several other CCs firing. One robber was wounded. As they fled the bank it was WWII.

Now when you stop to consider protecting the Bank's money- it is insured. Risking your life and the lives of others ain't too swift. Up to that point the robbers had never shot or injured anyone. Granted it was only a movie but it is worth it? From this point on it got violent. This was not Cowboy Western film. It was modern uptodate.

I was disgusted by that movie.

I worked many bank robberies. Even in the note jobs the victim tellers (usually 20 year old young ladies in their first real job) were terrified by the experience. Many never came back to work.

There are no “gentleman robbers”. All deserve to be shot down in the parking lot.

Never seen the movie..... but putting folks on the floor (laying face down???) or herding them into back rooms .... can be the prelude to executions.

IMO.....Take the money and run....... but in these crazy times terrorism/violence could be part of the plan.
