How Do Small Hands and Short Fingers Fit SD9 VE?

Golfers will realize my predicament when I say that I wore a cadet size golf glove. That said, my gen3 G26 is too fat and bulbous for me to get the meat of my trigger finger on the "bang lever". Not surprisingly, my Walther PPS (single stack) EDC pistol fits me just fine.

What I seek now is a HD weapon and range toy and the SD9 VE appeals on a number of levels, If It Will Fit! I know, I've got to find one and hold it to see, but would anyone care to make an educated guess?

I would venture to say it would fit you quite well. I have medium size hands and fingers and find my trigger finger naturally rests on the trigger with the second segment of the finger. At the end of the trigger pull, the tip of my finger touches the left side of the frame near the mag release. I would say go for it. Somehow I don't have this problem with the Shield, even though it's smaller.

I have pretty stubby hands as well. Not to bad but I have a SD9VE and it's pretty comfortable. I'll upload a picture of me holding it in just a minute when I can get my internet to work right

The real key is where the trigger breaks. The SD is already good out of the box, but an Apex plastic trigger will really dial it in for you with small hands. I'm married to a 5'2", 105 type girl with matching hands. She can hold the SD better than anything I have. It has the added attraction of being one of the smoothest guns to rack that we've tried.

For me, the size isn't an issue, but arthritis is. The SD just works well.
