I've been using 4"L x 3/4"Dia. lucite rods for more than 20 years. Cheap and almost invisible.

Where did you get the lucite rods? I have tried locally (Hobby Lobby, Michaels, etc) without success.

Contact member "qennis" here. He makes handgun racks for very reasonable prices. I purchased one and it's very nice for the money.

I custom build handgun racks for safes.
Built from oak with felt lining.
They are very nice.

The 6 gun oak model is $25 plus shipping.
I have sold quite a few here on the forum and everyone has been happy so far.
Here is a picture of a walnut model.

Hi Dale!

I had my Lucite (acrylic) rods made up by a local plastics company.

How many do you need?

I have a few extras or can arrange to have them cut and shipped to you.

Sometime's there for sale here in the classifieds, and on Gunbroker where there to expensive. I myself made nice one's out of oak dowls and stain them red oak, and varnished them and attached quaters from all the different states to the faceing end's. There being glued as I write this now. Had racks and they take up to much room IMHO.

I use the cabelas "rack 'um" handguns hang on the door, pretty impressive when you open the safe.

I have a peg board inside my door. I have 15 handguns hanging by the trigger guards. Around each hook, I wrap electrical tape around the hooks so the guns don't get scratched.

After the supply of $1.50 each blue plastic prop rods dried up I started making my own out of 3/4" hardwood dowels and 1 1/2" diameter 1/8" thick wood discs.
Logos are printed on an adhesive backed clear vinyl on a digital press.

Wow, those look really spiffy!

KO, those look very classy, great idea!

George, the lucite rods look great too. Any idea what 6 or 8 of those would cost?

The quarter idea is a good one also, I'll bet they look nice. Have you tried matching the date of the coin to the gun you are displaying? Could get interesting as you go older.

I've been using the magazine "duck" plug from my old Remington 870 Wingmaster. Seems to work well, but definitely not flashy.

Pretty cool idea. At first look I thought they were wooden sewing thread spools. They look very fitting.
