Check #7 assuming your flash hider isn't pinned. Clamp the barrel some you don't have to, and use a open end wrench to remove. Use a new crush washer when reinstalling a new one.

Be sure to use a barrel block or make one out of wood and tighten ! You do not want the barrel to turn, most hiders use a 3/4 open end wrench to remove and you can tape the jaws if you wish. Counter clockwise to remove.
