I just got a new BFR in 460 with 7.5 barrel to go with my S&W PC with 7.5 barrel and was wondering if anybody else has shot both the BFR and the S&W and what they think of them. I have shoot the BFR about 20 round and it seams to shoot well but has a little more recoil than the heavier S&W with comp.

My experience with the S&W vs BFR is. I have a BFR 500 Mag and a few S&W 500 Mags. The BFR is a very good gun, it is accurate and is well made, the S&W has a smoother trigger. As for the recoil, I don't notice any real difference.

I do not like the compensated guns, I had a custom end cap made for my 4 inch S&W 500 Mag. I like it a lot better like that.

Magnum Research did a great job with the BFR in my opinion.
