Neighbor brought over a Box of stuff that he has collect from Auctions bundle buys and he had a couple choke tubes in them. Both Seem to be the same gauge but neither is marked except the bore and both Are Berretta Optima no steel F.
I have always wanted A Handy Gauge to Stick in the barrel to see but i cant find 1 or even if one is even made. Google was no help this time.
I did a Quik Caliper Measurement but they are to close to call Between 20 and 16 gauge

Beretta 20ga barrels used Mobilchoke or later OptimaHP.
Optima (no HP) was a 12ga overbore tube.

Are you sure it isn't 12ga?

thanks to all that replied i knew i could count on this Forum for Guidance
i ordered Brass Gauge like RPG suggested , Actually was surfing the net last night but could find what i was wanting

Measuring the dia. at the muzzle only tells you the dia. at the muzzle. It's the same with screw in chokes. Too determine the choke you also have too know the dia. of the bore. When a barrel is backbored it increases the choke because of the difference between the bore and muzzle dia. even though nothing is done too the muzzle. Larry

Beretta normally stamps the Gauge and Chamber length on the rear of the barrels. On an O/U gun the top barrel will have this info either to the left or right of the rib. BTW, on later model Beretta's the bottom barrel will have the actual bore diameter in millimeters. I'll also note that Beretta typically overbores the barrels by 0.2 millimeters.

update and a bit of a thread drift.
It is a 20 Gauge full choke.
I ordered my Gauge from Connecticut Shotgun on 10th before supper and it was on my front porch the 13th at lunch.
2 thumbs up for Connecticut Shotgun
