how long have you been reloading

My dad taught me about reloading in '67 and I began doing it on my own in '68 after he died, with advice from my grandfather. I still have my RCBS Jr. press from '69, which I use for selected rifle cartridges. So.... it's been 42 years now.

My father in law taught me the basics of reloading almost a year and a half ago. I'd say ~5k rounds since then.

I've been reloading since 1971 and started from the Lee classic die for my 38 then "graduated" to the Lee Turrent and finally to the Lee Loadmaster. Over the years, I've acquired over 30 handguns (handguns only) ranging from 22's up to the 45-70 and 500 S&W revolver.

Started reloading 45acp ammo with a lee loader hand set in 1969 lots of hammering in and out of those old dies, since then moved on to lyman turrent press, Rcbs Rock Chucker, RCBS ammo master,Mec Shot shell Presses,PW 1000 auto shell press after lots of use I have settled on RCBS PRO 2000 for most of my rifle & pistol loads,if I need something special or an expencive hunting trip I`ll use the rockchucker.
Shotgun shells I use the RCBS GRAND 12 GA I have the conversion kit for 20ga. also the PW it nice but dosn`t have a shell censor it will dump powder or shot if you don`t manualy shut the hoppers off it dosn`t get the use it deserves.

Started Oct. 8, 2009!!! I am a newb to reloading, but have watched my dad reload for the last two decades..... and he has been at it since the 60's! At one point, he was reloading so much that he and a buddy bought a paint mixer that holds 5 gallon buckets to use as a tumbler.

I just got my 9mm, 380, 38 spc/357, and 45 acp dies, plus some rifle dies I got from the old man. Lots of fun to look forward to.

Started in 1989. My StepFather gave me a Lee Turret Press for Christmas. I still use it today. He had sold me a Ruger 77 30.06 several years before that he had glass bedded, and supplied me his reloads for a few years, but encouraged me to start. Once I began to shoot factory ammo side-by-side with his reloads, I was hooked. This was about the time that the ammo companies started offering the 'premium' loads (for a premium price). I was always interested in handguns, and once I started reloading for them, that was it.
