LOL! I like that response.
For me it was about 6 months or so. My normal e-mail kept getting rejected because it was hotmail. Then, brain surgeon or is it rocket scientist that I am, tried using my work e-mail and it worked

I registered a few days ago after lurking for a day or so. I was looking for some magazines for my 1006 when this site came up in a Google search.
There's a lot of good info here and I hope to contribute whenever I can.

I lurked here for about 5 or 6 weeks before registering. As I became more interested in firearms I did a google search and turned up a number of gun forums which I then lurked on for about two months. I ended up registering on two of them but this is the only one I have posted on.
I registered in January of 2004 after lurking a few weeks. At that time, either my computer or the board software, or maybe some combination thereof was super s-l-o-o-o-w. I checked the board regularly, and posted infrequently, until a year-and-a-half or so back when I started posting more here and less on a bird hunting board I am still a member of. I have always loved S&W guns, and I sort of renewed that interest a couple of years ago.

I posted and registered the day that I found the forum if I remember right, yikes, that was what, six years ago? I'd just found a LNIB nickel 15-3 and had questions. What I learned convinced me to go back and also buy the blued 15-2 that had been sitting next to the 15-3 i the case. Sadly, I came along too late to keep the nickel (like new, sob) 19-2 that I'd had just before that. Ah well.

Same here, I posted the same day I found this place and registered here. I had just gotten a new M&P 45ACP and had some questions. Then I don't think I posted for months until I got the Wheelie Bug and started asking tons of questions.

I read and snooped for a while, then tried to join. I had trouble getting my email to go through so contacted the administrator. Seems I had joined last summer some time and forgotten. That entry was deleted so I could join again. There's a lot of knowledge here if you can pick up on the jargon.
