I have a Model 329 NG (Night Guard) that I bought new. I can't remember seeing anyone else post anything about these. Does anyone here know how many of these were made? Since it is a Performance Center offering, maybe they didn't keep track of the quantity produced.

The Night Guard family was not a Performance Center offering.

I've never seen any production numbers stated for the NGs but they were only made for a few years & the MSRP wasn't cheap.

It's my opinion that the 325NG (45ACP) was possibly the most produced, based on the frequency of encounter.

The 329NGs seemed fairly commonly encountered also, as used items, but that might only be because after the new owner shot it once, & experienced their recoil, they traded it in.

The only one I have ever seen numbers on was the 315NG.

They were a .38 Special K Frame version that was the last model released in the series.

Reportedly less than 600 made.

The other models seemed to be much higher as they were produced a couple years longer.

The NG series was a neat concept but came along as the wondernine craze hit.

Here is a 315NG with some Spegel grips in place of the originals.
