Fess up now....tell us the good, the bad & the ugly....

was it worth the price?
is it fun to shoot?
what do you use it for?
Is it accurate and slick to use?

etc...

....NO ONE is willing to comment on their choice?

Are there NO 327 fans among us here???

I really like my 327 M&P R8. It is very accurate, about 1.0"-1.5" @ 25 yrds. Light weight, the same as a 4" K-frame revolver. Fun to shoot fast double action, I use mine for IPSC/USPSA, practice only so far but going to compete with it next year. Accuracy wise this revolver would be good for Metallic Silhouette, too.

Here the ugly barrel is hiding inside the holster.

Sasu,
A bit off-topic, but which model SafariLand are you using there? Which category of IPSC/USPSA are you shooting in? I thought there was a 4" barrel limit? Are you limited to 6 rounds?

Also, whose moon clips are you using, and what's in them in the oic you displayed?

As far as the TRR8, I have been having fun with mine. Been practicing reloadinf quickly with moons.

I REALLY like my 327 "TRR's"...one is still "NIB", unfired...the other one came to me USED, with an "Action Job" by Randy Lee of "Apex Tactical" in Kalifornia...it is the NICEST DA I've ever fired...

The DA pull on the "Randy Lee" gun runs between 5 & 3/4 and 6 pounds, and makes Federal "American Eagle" 130-gr. "Ball" go "Bang" every time...the AMAZING thing about the gun is that it has only the "Mid Grade" Action Work from Randy!

I've owned that gun about six months, and have only had a chance to fire it TWICE in Competition...both times at a Local "Steel Match"...I've shot two of my three BEST SCORES with it so far, and haven't put in nearly as much PRACTICE as I'd like...

I'm sold on the gun...the 327 "TRR", that is...I think EVERYONE should have one...or MORE!!!...BTW, the "Randy Lee" Gun is NOT "For Sale"!!!...HTH....mikey357

It's the first revolver I've owned, and I'm quite impressed with it. I bought it for my girlfriend to use when we go to the range, as her "trigger discipline" with my 1911 makes me nervous! It's very nicely balanced and easy to handle, and as accurate as all get out. She easily gets all eight rounds "8 Ring or better" at 10 yards, and I'm slightly better. Handles 38spl with very little recoil, and even full power 357 loads are very managable. My friends who shoot revolvers always comment on how smooth the trigger is, both SA and DA.
Yep, it's a little pricey, but it's a quality gun, and you get what you pay for.
It's a GREAT gun, and we both love it.

It's a GREAT gun packed with many custom features! It shoots well and you can easily add a red dot sight or a scope. I like mine with the standard Hogue grips.
