How rare are model 10 round butts

How rare are Model 10 4" tapered barrel round butt revolvers?
I have been looking for one of these but I am not having much luck.

I don't know if they are rare or if people just hold onto them, but I have seen more 4" standard barrel, round butt model 12's than I have 10's. Mine is a 10-5 from the mid 1960's.

I agree. My father has one and I really like the round butt. I guess I'll find one some day.

I am not sure how rare round butt M-10s are. I have always liked the M-10, especially the round butts. I have two M-10s, both dash 5s. I found the round butt on GB several years ago. I was stationed in Wash DC in the early 1970s and lived near Quantico MCB. I recall seeing several female Marine gate guards who always had a round butt S&W in their holsters. I don't know for sure but assume they were probably M-10s.
