Hey y'all, from Cherokee County, GA. Glad to be aboard after lurking for who knows how long. Started shooting at 9 years old with a junior NRA program run by our police sergeant. Still have my certificates but the medals have disappeared. Program was run out of our high school which was built during the depression and had a .22LR range in the basement. It was still active when I went there in the mid-70's but has since been decommissioned. No surprise.
These days all my free time is taken up with my German Shepherd puppy, a full blood Czech working line pup I'm preparing for IPO (Schutzhund). Between her, work and volunteering, I don't get to the range as much as I would like. I did just pick up a 686-8 4" so anxious to put it through the paces.
