Howdy from Nebraska

Just bought a 686-6, my first S&W, as I wanted to make my Ruger GP100 jealous.
I got into shooting late, when I was 55 I tore my quadricep off my kneecap and couldn't ride my motorcycles for 4 months, so I had to find another hobby I could not afford, so guns seemed to fit the bill nicely.

Guns, Motorcycles, and Convertibles, that covers my fun groups!

I screwed up just now, my wife of 39 years said if I wanted to make it to 40 years I should put her in the fun group too.
Glad somebody watches me!

What part of Nebraska? I lived in Beatrice until 4 years ago. Born up near Arcadia when I spent summers farming. Went to high school and college in Nebraska.

I am in Sarpy County just south of Omaha, except for a year in Tennessee and 3 years in South Dakota, I have been here since my father transferred to Offutt Air Force Base in 1963. I teach Diesel Technology to local High School students for Metro Community College.

I enjoyed many trips to Omaha in the early 90s and have fond memories of the good times at the College World Series at Rosenblatt Stadium, the horses running at Ar-Sar-Ben, and the greyhounds at Bluffs Run. My nephew is a LEO in Omaha now.
