Welcome and Greetings!!! Though I am in California now most of my family are still in Texas and I retired there. My wife wanted to be near her three youngest grand-daughters. I retired from Texas City and lived in Bayou Vista.

Thanks! Texas City municipal shooting range happens to be where I first learned how to shoot from my Father, at the age of 4. Roughly about 20 minutes from where I live now (La Porte). Small world

Were you ever on the range when that guy that build's .50 Cal. Browning bolt action rifles in Texas City fires off one of his rifles on the range? It would set off every auto alarm in the parking lot! LOL!

It's quite possible. I've seen a couple out there, including mine. I purchased one from (SHTF) 50 single shot upper conversion. The rifle next to it is a Rem 700 heavy barrel for comparison.
