Just wanted to say hello. Retired Navy Reservist hoping to live long enough to get my share of retirement pay. Still have a few years before I turn 60. I have been a long time lurker but this is my first post. Like everyone else here I like guns of all kinds although lately I seem to be on a "retro revolver kick",especially older S&W's. Although I've had several Smiths over the years, right now I have 4" Mod 65 and a 6" 29-2. Anyway I am glad to be a member here and I have already learned a lot just from reading other posts.

Unfortunately I am not smart enough to know how to post a picture. It is a 6" Blue 29-2 with TH, TT, & TG. S/N N8148XX. I got it from a local collector. I have not fired it and don't think he did either. I was considering selling it outright or trading for a Blue 29-2 4 inch or maybe a 629. I really wanted a 5 inch barrel but can't see cutting such a nice gun.
