Hi everyone,
Coming from Washington State, new to S&W's but not new to guns! I have over 35 in the collection (so far
) However my first two S&W's only came to me in the last couple weeks. I couldnt help myself, if I was going to buy a revolver it had to be the biggest I could think of. So I ended up with the fullsized model 500 with hi viz sights and the threaded comp on the muzzle.
My second smith came into my possession just this past weekend. I traded my father a polish P-64 pistol for my grandfathers K-38 combat. I believe it was produced in 1954 if someone has a better idea, serial number K223XXX located on the barrel. It's a very important pistol in my life, first pistol I ever shot other than a .22 plinker. I also have a picture of my grandfather and I togther, this K-38 in his hands. It was the last time he and I ever were together before he passed away in 2003.
If I had to choose between the 500 and the K-38, the 500 would go in a heartbeat.
