Hello all,

New S&W owner here from the West Coast (CA)!

My time owning my S&W (SD9VE) has been short to say the least! I sent it back to S&W at the start of August to fix an issue I was having with the slide. Has anyone sent a firearm back to them recently?

Wondering what peoples experiences have been regarding the usual turn around time? CA’s 10 day waiting period felt long enough, but at least I had an exact time frame- ha ha.

“North Dakota…beaches…what?” I see you refer to the land around your swimming areas as “beaches”, not literally beaches aka the ocean!

Hope everyone’s weekend is going well! I thought I would update my post, just incase anyone searches for the same question I had regarding S&W’s turnaround time on repairs.

It’s been 44 days (6 weeks) still no sign of my pistol . I did call them a couple of times and received the same generic answer. Maybe this week, I shall see.

After 9 long weeks my pistol is finally home! The repairs department did a total of 0 repairs [emoji23].
