I went to my local gun and pawn today and he had a 5906 stainless LNIB with the white dot sights, and I can get an Uncle Mikes black nylon ambidextrious shoulder holster(I am left handed) with a 2 mag holder and a box of standard rounds all for 450.

The 5906 has been shot but it looks like new.No powder stains from exsessive firing. It is in really great shape.

I will post pics this weekend If my son pays me what he ows me otherwise It will be a few days before I can pay for it.My son owes me 450 and is supposed to pay me this weekend, and the guy at the gun/pawn shop I have done buisness with him several times and he will kinda hold it for me until Sat till Noon when they close.I will either take him some to hold it until my son gets me paid off or I will pay him off if my son pays me off.I will take and post pics as soon as I get it home. Now I just need to figure out how to post pics here.LOL

I sold a 5906 in good condition, not LNIB, but sold it for $325, so you may be paying a little too much for the gun, even though you are getting some ammo and holster. I would offer less than the $450, say $365. Pawn shops where I live are usually quite a bit higher than gun shops for the same condition gun..zorro49

Sounds a bit high to me, but not high enough if it's really clean and you want it. I would not put a lot of value in a nylon shoulder holster, but that's just because I know I'd never use it, but if you would use it, it would be a different story. Assuming std. FMJ rounds, figure $10-$12 for the ammo.

You might want to check with CDNN, they often have used 5906 under $300; Summit has some 5903's for $316 and 6906's for $289, http://www.summitgunbroker.com/S_W_5903.html They're all PD trades, but if it's going to be a gun you shoot much and/or carry, a bit of character's no big deal.

yes summit or other may be less but don't forget to add the shipping and FFL charges to the prices. If ya add 20 or so for cheap shipping then a 50.00 ffl fee ya are real close to what he's paying...

I like my 5906 enough I don't plan on sellin it and I gots a few nines
