...How's Your Fall Weather Going?...

We've had some snow but not nearly enough. The last two years have been dry with very little snow.



This is my winter job, grooming snowmobile trails. We generally don't start grooming until Jan 1st and our season is done the end of March.

Last winter we never ever fired up the cat.

Its a great job. 2-3 nights a week and about 13-14 hrs each shift to groom about 60 miles.

Right now there's only about 15" at 10,500 ft.

Fall fell....

Fall fell here yesterday and what a relief. I looked at the 10 day forecast and it might be here to stay. But most likely we'll have a heat wave around Thanksgiving.

Seventy Six sunny degrees right now, low humidity. For the last two weeks it's been wonderful.

Dropped down to 37 degrees last night Yep it's fall all of a sudden.
Nice day in the 60's today.
Instead of getting the motorhome ready to go south for two weeks, spent the day winterizing it and putting it away!
