Huge decision time......

Here's my 2000 Bangers PC 6.5" #84 8-shot pre-lock 27-7.

I originally agreed to trade it for 3-4 other pistols and tomorrow is the day I either trade it or pay for the other pistols.

Tough decision.

Bangers has S&W make 100 with 4" barrels and 100 of them with 6.5" barrels. This is #84 of 100. SN is BNG0084.

Been hunting around and collecting for 10+ years and never seen a Bangers (or any other blued 8 shooter) in the flesh for sale. Keep it!

This is my 30th year in the Class 3 industry. We always have a saying; "you can always make more money, but you can't make more machine guns". Fully transferable of course. And, I think that holds true to any collectible today. Another saying we have is; "you can never pay too much for a machine gun. You just buy it too soon". Hope this helps. Thanks! Mick

I have a friend who is a well-known revolver shooter who has several of the 27-7 6 1/2" guns and shoots them regularly in competition. Prefers the long barrel to the 5" 8-shooters most of us use.

We don't know what you're trading for but I think you should sell that 27-7 on Gunbroker to get max bucks, then pay cash for the guns you want. Trades are so hard to value. Does the other party know full-well the value of the 27-7?

I was looking it over an said, "seriously?? you;re going to get rid of it?"

I am now eating the styrofoam cups the Ramen noodles come in.

8 3/8" nickle M27-2. The display case has been sent in to get reupholstered.

These are what I was going to trade the M27-7 for but now I'm going to buy them.

I felt that it was a fair trade. The nickle 27-2 was the least expensive of the three but I like it.

I really thought there for a while I was going to trade it off but decided to keep it.

Speaking for myself here, that's a nice trio of 27's but there's no way I'd swapped that -7 for them. You did the right thing, congrats.
