We had a good turnout. Best I could tell shotgun scores we’d down this year. When I get the official results I’ll post a report.

Sounds like a great day, Safe AND Fun!! I used to be a Hunter Education Instructor but everything here is online now. A few counties still have one field day for the whole course. Good on you for taking the time, it is rewarding.

We had 371 kids participating on 37 teams with 120 coaches and over 800 in attendance. It was gun control at its best, all these firearms and not the first incident. Shotgun scores were way off. The highest team score was 920, meaning the 5 kids dropped a total of 8 targets. I've seen it when the high scores were 970 plus. Only 2 shooters shot a perfect score and made it to the doubles round. In years past there have been a dozen or more. Overall it was a great time. If it wasn't during turkey season I'd volunteer at the state tournament.
