Hunter holster ? Model #?

I'm pretty sure this has some age on it,, any ideas?

And the Open End,, what stamp should I expect to see?
On the other side which I haven't seen yet, only one picture was provided.

I'm not sure that it is a Hunter holster, the staples were typically used in Brauer Brothers holsters. Most Hunter holsters were closed end. Let us know when you get it.

Staples? Is that the Green I see @ the end (s) of the stitching?
Brass staples?

It's not a Hunter, but open end Hunter holsters were often stamped "OE" after the fit number.

Agree with turnerriver, definitely a Brauer but without the typical Brauer lettered snap buttons. Brauer actually invented the snap-off loop around the holster pocket, which allows the holster to be removed from the belt without removing everything else along with it. Today, yes, we associate that construction with Hunter and the likes of Heiser didn't use it until well after the patent expired.

Bauer,, well made, inexpensive and it sure looks Very durable
