Found this looking to put a 4" S&W K frame into. The back says "Hunter" in a powder horn, under that 2100-11, and beneath that "Hand Carvved". Holster seems to be new, has basket weave on front. What do I have? A windows update just popped up and has blocked half of what I am typing. Hope this works.

The Hunter Company has been making holsters for almost 70 years. If you Google Hunter Holsters, you can access a size chart that will tell you from the number on the holster what fits. I have several Hunter holsters from a very plain one to an elaborately carved belt and holster. Decent quality for the price.

I couldn’t find the 2100 in the catalogues, but the 1100-11 fits a Colt Lawman or Official Police with a 4” barrel. If the holster model sizing is similar, it should work for a 4” K frame.

I couldn't find model 2100 either. Perhaps it is the same as
1100 except 2100 is basket weave? Company chart says
1100 is for Colts like the Official Police. I have holsters made
for the OP that S&W K fits just fine, if the S&W has adjustable
rear sight like model 19, 15, etc. The S&W fixed rear sight
K Frames might be a little loosey goosey.

I needed a holster for my Ruger Old Model Single Six with a 9 1/2" barrel. Eventually a Hunter popped up on ebay and I purchased it. I'ts not as nicely done as the carving on a Lawrence for example but I think I only paid around $40 for it.

Interesting Hunter holster trivia: I have the first season of The Man From UNCLE on DVD. In one of the earliest episodes there is a good closeup of the black leather shoulder rigs worn by one of the agents for his modified Walter P-38 and you can clearly see the Hunter powder horn logo stamp on the leather. MGM's prop master probably went out to nearby Martin B. Redding's store in Culver City and bought whatever was available.

Well, my Victory model 10 fits loosey goosey, just like Crazyphil predicted. A model 15, four inch fits snug, with a tad of a tight fit with the sight. What is something like this worth? I use a Boise Idaho Leather holster for the K frames and don't really need this one.

I was thinking about the 1100 series Hunters and my comment above
that 2100 might be the 1100 in basket weave. Then I remembered that
I have the 3100 shown below. Same as 1100 except floral carved.
Sorry about the minutia but we holsterholics thrive on it.

I would bet you are right, crazyphil. The 2100 is probably for the basket weave. This holster thing is getting to be a slight disease. I can't just look at one and walk away. I have to exam it closely, count stitches, check makers mark, model etc., even though I have no need for such holster. I find myself buying just because of the name, with absolutely no idea of what it fits. I might have to go cold turkey on this habit.
