Just got one for my Shield, how much testing have others done to make sure it is reliable?

I have (5) 8+2 Hyve's...although I don't keep track of how many rounds I've fired through each one...the original 8rd that came with the gun has got to have at least 200 or so. No problems with any of them tho.

Not a problem in over 2 years, I make sure it’s used every range time.

I also installed the Hyve trigger (red) and Hyve magazine release extension (black)

One more thing I did was buy a sheet of grip tape (Ebay) and custom cut to fit all 5 of my Hyve extensions all the way around. I did it to help protect them from dings when I drop a mag and it matches the looks of the gun. I also installed a Strike Industries +2 extension on my 7rd carry mag. If you don't want to turn you 7rd mag into a 9rd...put a Pearce Pinky extension on it...definitely helps your grip on the gun. That's what kye4some is showing on his 7rd mag above.

Recently picked up 3 of these from a good gentleman named Jim. Do not know the brand.
Ive ran a box thru each since not on malfunction.
8+1 45 in a slim package. The extra length is perfect for my hand and not an issue as far as concealment.
I sold my 6 rd the day I bought this gun never put a round init or shot with it. I knew from my 40 shield the flush mag for me is useless.
