Well guys sorry for the miss guided rant entitled "I will never buy another Smith & Wesson product". I should have slept on it a day before posting. I did not make an account just to come on here and complain. Sorry for making a butt of myself, and I'm usually a humble person. I just suffered a terrible loss of a close family member and this was just something to push me over the edge. I love Smith & Wesson and would never trust my life to anything different. I carry a shield and my fiancee carries a M&P 40 as her duty sidearm. Just purchased this m&p 9 as a main sidearm. My lash out at the company was an incorrect one and not a reflection of my true nature. I have since removed my video to save me from looking like an idiot and bashing the good name of S&W. I hate that Cook county has ruined my state. As well as the welfare zombies that reside in it. I attend IGOLD every year, attend local NRAILA meetings, and write reps an congressmen constantly. When I could be doing something fun with my family I find myself doing this instead. A lot!! I will leave my state when it turns into a complete waste but not till I've fought to the end. There are a lot of great people here. We just need to get them in the right places. We gun owners in Illinois fought tooth and nail and finally got CCW. Were not stopping there. The reason I got super heated about capping this promotion to all of Illinois, is it had a eery foreshadow of an all out ban of sale of standard cap mags to Illinois. When this happens the scum legislators don't need to ban them. The disturbers did it for them. That's what I mean by the loss of rights. In this state we have a problem with rumor laws. It's kinda like a folk lore you hear and in a small town. It eventially becomes truth. That's how these mouth breathers up here operate. It's sort of like common law marriage. once you have been with them for so long you are recognized by the state as being married. Same here, spread a false law and soon enough its common law. Even being selectively enforced by law enforcement! I would have bought the gun anyways I'm not hurting for money by any means. I really did assume that Illinois as a whole would not have been restricted. Usually sales specifically restrict to cook count only. I assumed this was going to be the case and had no reason to believe different. So i never even checked. Nobody else has done that yet!! I'll just take the 10 rounders and conserve ammo that way. Heck they cost more anyways. I'll buy plenty of 17 rounders at a decent cost locally. Thanks for listening to me ramble. God Bless!!
