I bought a Lawrence floral carved holster at a small gun show today. The guy didn't know what gun it's for but for the price I decided to grab it.
It has 34LF stamped above the Lawrence name and 94 below the name with the 9 stamped above the 4.
Here are some pictures.
Thanks for any help.

The L is for laced. The F for floral carved. The 4 probably for up to 4"
barrel, and the 9 for group 9 holsters. Group 9 includes Colt Detective
special, Cobra, and probably Agent. It includes Police Positives, Harrington
and Richardsons, Iver Johnsons, Smith and Wesson Kit Gun and .32
Regulation Police. I could be very wrong, but this is my best guess.
It is a beautiful holster by the way. Model 34 has always been my favorite
Lawrence, and the flowers and lacing are frosting on the cake.

OK thanks.
I did try a 4" K frame but it was too big. I don't have a 4" M34 but would like one so I'll probably just hold onto the holster.
I love good leather work any way.
Thanks again.

Do what I did.
Buy holster.
Walk into well stocked gun store.
Say "Find me a gun that fits this holster."
Buy gun.

The gun stores around here are not well stocked right now in these crazy times.
Went in a popular one a couple of weeks ago. They normally have 5 or 6 sales guys behind the counter and many handguns guns on the shelves. That day there was 2 guys and a bunch of empty space on the shelves.

Yeah, that's a flaw in my plan. There's another flaw. In my case I walked into Collector's Firearms in Houston. That cost me.

I need to find one like that for my wife's Model 63.

bamabiker - The 34 marked on the holster is the Lawrence Model number,
not the model of the gun that fits. But by coincidence the holster, being
in group 9 should also work for the S&W kit gun.

OK thanks.
I stuck my M34 in the holster. It's a 2" not a 4" but just wanted to see how it fit. I believe the holster was used for some other gun because the hammer thong does not come close to the M34 hammer.

I don't know about the hammer thong, but Lawrence used to ship some holsters without the snap installed. The only direct experience I have with that is when I ordered one of their full-flap holsters it came that way, with an instruction sheet on how to install it to fit your gun/grip combination. I wonder if they did other holsters that way since many of them fit various models and there would be variations.

Gotta be a way to "adjust" the thong.
