Paradise

Did anybody else watch the television show “Paradise” tonight? I had the show on while I was messing around on my iPad checking and sending emails and texts, surfing the net, etc. Basically it was background noise for about 40-45 minutes, then I wrapped up what I was doing on the iPad and plugged it in to charge. I then started watching the show intently. All of a sudden something happened on the show that really grabbed my interest, but then, it was over! I know that this is a very strange post, but I am trying to decide if I need to rewatch the show from the beginning, paying attention to it this time?

What say you? Did any of you folks watch it and find the premise interesting? I looked it up and it stars Sterling K. Brown, a guy named Scott Lawrence, who I have seen before is also in it.

This is the plot, an apocalypse theme. All top level government officials and the elite are living in a huge underground Colorado luxury survival complex called Paradise. Undisclosed what the apocalypic global extinction event was, but speculation is that it will be revealed as being some cataclysmic climate change event, like reversal of the earth’s poles. Just finished the first two seasons of Silo. Loved it, but its not for everyone.

After the finished, I googled it and saw that about Hulu. I was disappointed because I’m not a subscriber either. But, I saw on another post where it said it was going to be on ABC like last night or FX. I have both of those, so I’m hoping it’s true. Maybe it will be shown first on Hulu and a short time later on one of the other channels.

Old 44 Guy, it was on ABC last night. Like DWalt said, it may just be on Hulu for the remaining episodes.

I just searched for it on my television, and it says that the first episode will be repeated on Channel FX on Saturday at 10pm. It may be another teaser to get folks over to Hulu, but I hope not. For anyone interested, check it out. If you also happen to have Hulu, you may be GTG. The rest of us will have to wait and see, I guess. I’m definitely going to watch it from the beginning Saturday so I understand it better.

ABC and NBC are primary owners of Hulu. That is the reason that most of CBS's programing is not covered there.

So no Super Bowl on Hulu and they are looking to keep viewers entertained and paying.

If my wife isn't in bed the TV is on. With antennae we get one PBS station. I subscribe to Hulu, though I often hold my nose when I pay the bill.

So since you are up to episode 4, I guess that means it ISN’T going to be on something other than Hulu currently.

Sorry guys, I double checked and it was three episodes we watched. Not four. If you watched ep.3 you are current.

Seems Hulu will do the weekly thing every Tuesday going forward.
