I just installed some XS express big dot tritium sights...They are advertised as being a combat fast acquisition orientated sight..but as luck would have it they work equally well at solving some problems for us more experienced (read older) shooters.

I got tired of trying to line up the fuzzy things ...glasses were no help ..I have plastic lenses in both eyes so I'm sorta stuck with a fixed focal distance..loosing the front sight behind the bill board of a rear sight was getting frustrating..with the shallow v notch rear of the XS
sights that's nearly impossible..you just dot the I so to speak.

I have no dog in this fight but thought it might be of some interest. I'm sure many of you know about these sights..some may not..hence the purpose of this post

I like the sight picture, suppose they make one to fit my 625?
I don't know but the 325 night guard comes standard with the small dot tritium front sight..they also make the big dot sight for the S&W the 640 and the 686 .

There was no standard part number for my application (odd ball Colt 1911 model) .. I sent them an email with some measurements and a couple of pictures and they hooked me up ala carte. Great customer service. I'd be willing to bet they would work with you..I worked with Bo Wallace at XS to find the parts I needed

..the shotgun sights look kinda interesting...

625 huh..very nice

I just sent my S&W 640 in to the S&W Service Center to have an XS Big Dot sight installed and the rear sight widen to accommodate the new sight.

I hope my aging eyes can pick up the sight quicker as a result of this modification.

I just emailed these people to see if they can help me with my 5906 as I need a sight blade for my factory adjustable sights with larger dots or one bigger dot or something that will help my (older) eyes. If anyone else has any other ideas please be sure to speak up.

I drifted the sights off of my pistol with a brass punch and hammer in order to measure the sights dovetails. I measured them with a micrometer. A caliper or machinists rule (100ths of an inch) would get you in the ball park as well.

I sent them those measurements as well as pictures of the stock sights. The measurements as well as the photos made things a whole lot easier for them.... and a lot quicker for me. Mine was an odd ball set up ..I don't know if S&W sights are fairly standard sizes or even if they make their own..

I ordered them had them on the gun two days later..that was with ground shipping!

Best of luck....Hope they can help ya out.
