I did not watch the Superbowl....

Realizing early on it was pre-ordained to be the "Ray Lewis" victory show, it was what it was. Working in the electric utility industry I took great interest in the power outage, which just shows how boring I've become! :) My son did note that Ray's knife victim was watching from above and decided to stir things up and make a showing...I agreed with him, but wished the spirits had not blinded the refs from seeing obvious pass interference calls at the end. :(

I turned the game on for the commercials. By the half time show I was bored and turned it off. I am not a sports fan. I am a car guy and race fan.

My wife and I usually go out to eat. During the game, the streets look like something out of a science fiction movie. There's no waiting for a table at our favorite restaurant.

I thought I'd watch a movie last night. Unfortunately, TCM felt that those who would rather not watch the football game thing, would be inclined to enjoy My Fair Lady...not that there's anything wrong with that. I popped in a DVD of The Sands of Iwo Jima.

Game? There was a game? Spent that time wrangling the grandson. With darned few timeouts.

Needless to say, he ran all over me.

Anyway, if you didn't watch, was there a particular reason?
Because I find sports boring and trivial.

I watched "Puppy Bowl" on Animal Planet. I find dogs far less annoying than football players and far more intelligent than sports commentators.

After that, I turned the TV off and talked guns online.

Have ZERO interest in any type of stick and ball sports. Nothing against them, just have no interest. I am basicly just a big kid. And, back when I was chronologicly a kid (60's) you were either totaly consumed with cars....fast cars...or else you were a SISSY. I never played football.

Just can't get into sports anymore. Every body makes more money than they are worth and half of them are using some type of drugs. I don't know, it just seems that the sport has gone out of sports now days. I'd rather sit here and read this.

I watched my 9ers go down AFTER going to the range with my son. First we shot up a case of clays, then off to the pistol range to break in his new Baretta 9 mm. After that to the tin can range to shoot up some plastic bottles with our new MP 15's. All in all a good day. BTW, I liked the WHO better as half time shows go.

I had much better things to do:

First we took the dogs and Jr. out hiking in the beautiful AZ desert, took a nice nap, we all worked on the O-Gauge train board and a few honey-do's for me, then a nice diner before reading books and putting Jr. down for the night.

I put a a bowl full of .40's in the Dillon tumbler to let them get clean while the wife and I curled up to watch an episode of Californication and Homeland, commercial free on Apple TV and Netflix.

I read a chapter of "The Limit" by Michael Cannell, the story of Phil Hill's Formula One World Championship drive in 1961 and his rivalry with Wolfgan von Tripps on the Ferrari Scudaria.

Awesome book BTW.

No interest. Still don't know who played. Did it come in on my rabbit ears? I think I get 1 channel of something like NBC, ABC. etc. Not sure. I do get MeTV. Was it on there? I.E. I don't pay for any TV.

Super Sunday? I started off the day with a nice espresso followed by a nice breakfast of corned beef hash with some eggs. Yum. Did laundry (2 loads). While laundry was processing I tumbled about 400 357 mag brass. Organized my reloading bench a bit more. Got about 50% of my new Dillon 550 set up. Tossed a couple of rib eyes on my grill for dinner. Then went back to my reloading bench to size some more Lyman 358429 boolits. New mold 4 cavity. Lubed with White Label Carnauba Red lube. Now the testing off the Ransom rest with chrony. Went to bed....

lost interest when bud adams moved Houston Oilers to Tn..getting my place in so tx ready for sale so can move to edge of Hill country so no time for TV.. Ha Ha and i made a living repairing the damn things, ain't life grand

Not into football.

Did a 2 hour Gaelic lesson, cut a little leather and sat in front of the TV sewing some sheathes.Watched a Season One marathon of "The Walking Dead", then a couple of episodes of Deadwood.
