I Do Believe That I Will Stick With My Shield 9

After reading a thread started by a new XDs owner about a week ago, he just updated yesterday that it is rusting pretty bad both roll pins on the body side. He carried IWB and was pretty sweaty one day, but he sure didn't expect this happen. I have carried my Shield since 4/13/12 the same way and NO evidence of rust or abnormal wear. Heck, I even wore it at the Saugatuck Beech with my family last weekend while on a mini vacation.

I seem to have acid for sweat, as most things I carry start corroding right away. Watches die before they're a year old, cell phones rarely make it to two years, and I'm constantly cleaning rust off my knives.

I've had my Shield 9mm for just over a month and carry whenever possible, with IWB holster right against my body, and I haven't noticed anything yet.
