I do not think that it is any big secret.

That a lot of us here are collectors. I know that I certainly am. So my question is. What are you still looking for to round out your collection? I think that I have made out pretty well to date. But there are still a few that I am looking for.

I have always been a big fan of the N frames. I have a bunch of model 29s and I love them. However the one that eludes me to this date is an early, dash three or earlier four inch blue model 29. Additionally, I have a couple of model 28s which I also really like. But I have yet to find a nice example of a model 27 at a decent price. It still bothers me that I had to let a really nice 5" nickel model 27 go a couple of months ago because the funding just was not there at the time.

So anyway, What are you still looking for to round out your collection?

A 19/66 3 inch in So. California. The ultimate needle in a haystack!

I have the 610 in 5 inch and 6 1/2 inch barrel, fluted cylinder. The original run did not have a 6 inch barrel. Larry

More of an accumulation than a collection......... needs are taken care of ....so I look for , what I call; "Gun Shop Saves"......unrecognized collectibles..... that I can take to the Ohio Bunch "Bunchings".... for the hard core collectors it attracts.......

A nickel 3.5 mod. 27-2 new in the box, made between 1960-65 with coke grips,...ok all take it without the cokes. [that's not asking to much right!!].........,,,thought I had one a month ago but the guy won't put a price on it and let it go..................................M*

I have a fondness for sort of different guns.to add to my accumulation. (different companies) Since I found my 547 after a few years looking I would like to get my hands on a "target" J frame 2'' 38. They are not rare, but also not too common to see for sale. Oh well it gives me ANOTHER good excuse to stop in just about every LGS I go by! I did miss one on here by about 2 minuets!

One more. Like retiredbadge, I'll know it when I seen it.

I can't get too excited for something new - at least anything new I am willing to pay for. I guess a P210 with a few spare mags would be nice, or maybe an interesting P08 of some sort, but what I really need is a new one with sharp, clear sights. For some reason all of my old stock have become fuzzy. :o

Cokes would be too big for a 3.5" 27 and they didn't come on the 357s.

Why would cokes be to big for a 3.5 27-2 I have seen several that way here on the forum?..i have a set on a 3.5 pre-27 that look and feel great. but I realize they didn't come that way...................M*

Still looking for.......

Almost the entire selection in my care is filled with those that I had no idea I was looking for until they were found.
For some unknown reason some of the more common items in other locations are rarely seen here, case in point: The S&W .22LR semi-automatics including the Models 422, 622 & 2206 are rarely seen for sale with 4" barrels in this area, not sure why but its a fact. Not that these are rare just uncommon around here.

Same here in this area, I don't see them either. I bought the 422 and 622 4" both in 1994 and only have the 622 left. :(

When I sold the 422 I thought I could always find another so that one is on my list to find, plus a model 631 in the 4" barrel.

I frame, post-war, .32 HE snubby with the half moon sight. I saw a nice one go on GB the other day for $680. I guess I don't want one that bad. A Terrier like that would be good, too. 6.5" .44 Mag, up to a -2. A 5" or 6.5 HD.
