I'll second FLICKR. Have had an account there for years, and it is nothing but easy and reliable. Tons of free storage space, no advertising. Check it out.

I joined Flickr. Uploaded a picture to it.

Cannot find HOW to share that picture. Also cannot find how to ask flickr how to share that picture.

Is my only option posting a link to my flickr page?

Instead of "here's a picture of my gun", it's "click the link to go to another site to see a picture of my gun"?

From the main page you will have subheaders. Camera Roll ; Photostream ; Albums ; , etc

Go to Photostream. Click the picture you want to share. In the lower right corner of the frame of the picture you will find a curved arrow. Click it. From there choose BBCode and in the size drop down option choose 1024X576 for horizontal photos or 576X1024 for vertical pictures. The code will be highlighted.

Right click the code, choose copy and then go to your post and right click paste it into the body of your forum post. Hit preview to "proof" your post before submitting.

If you have any problems track me down. I'm more than happy to assist.

Bish, I did that. Photostream then picture. Picture opened. No curved arrow. :(

I suspect this is because I'm on my phone, and not a computer.

I also suspect I will have to download ANOTHER app to make it work right.

Thank you for your assistance. I'll ponder on this some more.

I don't know. $25.00 seems like an awful lot of money to pay for a FREE hosting site.

FREE being what the OP requested.

I see they do have a phone app specifically for Andriod and Apple products. I would guess you knew that? :D

If not, it could be your answer.

I don't use a phone for internet. The screen is too small for these old peepers. Plus, I have access from work (now :p) and at home. No need to use my cell for that. It gets used for taking pictures, texting and even an occasional phone call.

I know that sounds crazy, right?

Upload the photos directly from your computer using the MANAGE ATTACHMENTS function right here in the forum. You will never get the NO PHOTO FOUND plastered on your post when the photo goes down or you delete at some future point and forget that you have posted it somewhere.

Yes, the photos show up as thumbnails but if you click on the photo it will enlarge and if you click on it again, it will enlarge a second time. At least that's the way it works on my computer. Here is an example: try clicking it twice ;)

My two babies, the 3 year old and the new 3 month old. Seem to be getting along.

That works just like you described. Thanks!!!

Best part about using the forum feature is that if a post gets quoted the thumbnails don't appear like the giant images necessitating an edit or endless scrolling through the quoted post.
