I Hate facebook! Rant

I don't use FB. Never have. Never will. I have never gotten any of those pop up ads. And yes I'm a proud member here and only wish that I could do more.
Try running a website this large without people financially supporting it.
I like it here so I am a member.
listen to the WORM and dont delay...PUSH that DONATION button TODAY.....
don't like the environment???....MOVE on down the road.....

I just don't use it. Hate it, as a matter of fact. Along with skype, twitter and all that other stuff.

The ads usually don't bother me when they're in the background. But this one kept blocking me from doing anything. I'd close the page, open another, and whenever I went to the forum, there it was again. It wouldn't pop up in any other webpages, just the forum. After opening and closing about 20 pages it finally went away. Maybe it wasn't related to face book, maybe it was. I don't care. I still hate face book.
Well I use facebook and am 66 years old. There is a great S&W Collectors group there. And a M1 Garand group with about 25,000 members.
If you are slightly intelligent and don't act like an idiot there, you don't have anything to fear. That said, many people don't like it, that's fine too.

Well, every day.....
Every day I get hundreds of notifications in my emails from 'friends' I don't even know. And that I NEVER use it is a bit of an exaggeration. I just use it about twice a year to tell somebody I'm glad they are doing well. Over 20 years that has blown up into a monster.
