I have yet to actually see, examine or shoot an FN Reflex. Has anyone here had the opportunity to do so?

I am always interested in something that comes out and actually seems like a good, competent design. I have watched video reviews and read articles on the relatively new FN Reflex pistol but have never actually seen one in person. I am curious as to how the first hammer fired micro carry 9 actually is. Does anyone here own one? Has anyone shot and examined one? This is just my own curiosity talking as I am always interested in how new designs actually perform without all the advertising hype.

I have been super happy and 100% satisfied with my Sig P365 but am always curious about a new product.

Well Chief, I might be the only taker so far, but yes, I went to the Richmond Gunshow 2 weeks ago and bought one. A brief story why I went there: I have a Cabelas credit card and all this month on Mondays they are offering 10% off including firearms. I am a vet and I get 5% additional for that also so my net from the $499 list is $432ish. I went to Cabelas fully intending to get one and even took 2 holsters I had that I wanted to see if they might fit. They completely irked (best language) me by not removing the trigger lock or even allowing the holstering of the pistol in my holsters. They called it a "safety concern". I even went to the store mgr and same thing. I left and haven`t been back. My only reasoning is that they wish to use the gun counter to sell more fishing stuff because they`re not in the gun business in my opinion. Get in or get out! Obviously not a problem at the gun show so I came home with the desert tan model. They didn`t have a black which I would have preferred. BTW, it was$420.

Now for the shooting. I have shot 130-140 rounds in it in 2 outings. No failures to feed, fire, go bang. I shot 115s,124s and 147s, both FMJ and JP. I had read that they shot low and left and that seems to be my experience...about 5 1/2 inches low at 10 yards but the left is only about 1 1/2 inches so only about 2/100s correction needed there and the rear sight seems by eyesight to be slightly left of center anyway so the left I think is no problem. 147s tended a little higher as I guess they are in the barrel longer during the recoil arc. I contacted FN service dept Friday and have received no reply regarding a higher rear sight. Is this the FN service experience? Just tell me whose sight fits and I can take care of that. Accuracy seems to be decent, I guess by virtue of the single action hammer fired action. I had some groups at the low left area I spoke of with outliers in a 360. I have shot a Hellcat and it seems much more easy to shoot than that. My wife has a 365 which I think is a great pistol but I was wishing to have a touch smaller grip to ease what will be primarily pocket carry. Hope this gives you some idea of my experience. If you have other questions ask away. John

Best to make up your own mind . To many good mini 9mm's out there now , well for many folks . My wife had a p365xl and I have a hellcat pro comp . Nothing smaller wanted here .
