I just bought my first gun in on line auction

Truth is that I have had better luck buying from gun broker than buying used guns from local shops..... Some of the best deals I have ever gotten were from online auctions.

The Ruger Service Six that I carry almost every day was gotten online and its awesome.

Maybe I just get lucky....I dunno

I had a long string of fantastic buys from Gunbroker over a number of years. These days I feel like the magic is long gone.

Way too many scammers and too many added fees. The humdinger sellers are good to go but their stuff sells at market and beyond (as it should!) but I really don't need any guns at market or beyond.

I saw some 28s at the gun show last weekend. Yep they all think they own the Holy Grail. I did see a couple shooters at reasonable prices...6-650. Where I got these two from is predominantly shotgun country. Heck I had a gun shop for 28 years there and didn't bother to sell handguns. Just wasn't worth the headaches...Somewhat different these days but handguns are still a pain there. Guns are coming to the FFL. He said he'd like one...so one may get sold but I'll wait till they get here. I must admit I have bought a couple real deals from him. I just got some 356 Win ammo from him for 20 bucks a box. I bought an estate and gave him fair deals...He's doing ok for a small shop.
